Google Chrome Setup Guide ​
Google Chrome supports Secure DNS using DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), allowing you to protect your DNS queries from interception and tampering. By using the UK DNS Privacy Project, you can enhance your privacy and security.
Step 1: Open Chrome Settings ​
- Open Google Chrome.
- Go to chrome://settings/security or:
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Settings > Privacy and security > Security.
Step 2: Enable Secure DNS ​
- Scroll down to Advanced > Use secure DNS.
- Ensure the toggle is switched on.
Step 3: Configure a Custom DNS Provider ​
- Select With Custom.
- Enter the following DoH URL:
https://resolver.dnsprivacy.org.uk/dns-query
Verifying Your Configuration ​
Visit the UK DNS Project homepage to verify that your system is using the configured DNS.
