Brave Setup Guide

Brave is a Chromium-based browser and supports Secure DNS using DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), allowing you to protect your DNS queries from interception and tampering. By using the UK DNS Privacy Project, you can enhance your privacy and security.

Step 1: Open Brave Settings

  1. Open Brave Browser.
  2. Go to brave://settings/security.

Step 2: Configure Secure DNS

  1. Scroll down to Advanced > Use secure DNS.

  2. Enable the toggle and choose With Custom.

  3. Enter the DoH URL:

    https://resolver.dnsprivacy.org.uk/dns-query
    

Verifying Your Configuration

Visit the UK DNS Project homepage to verify that your system is using the configured DNS.
